Sponge Tube: These are made out of High Molecular weight EPDM Sponge Rubber with low specific gravity 0.30 gm/cc to have very fine closed cell structure. The uses of Sponge tube in air conditioned pipe, insure no effect of the engine heat on the tubes meant for cooling i.e, no gain of temperature due to air pockets. Sponge tube is an ideal insulation for cold and hot water plumbing. It prevents heat gain and condensation problems and also prevents heat loss from hot water plumbing.
Weather strips wind Shield (Solid EPDM Rubber Profiles):
These are used forfixing of front, rear or back glass of the body of the vehicle. They are designed to ensure proper fixing of glass to bear the wind pressure to hold the glass in the position and also prevents from water leakage in the rainy season.
Maruti Techno Rubber Produces all types of EPDM Solid Rubber and also manufacturing EPDM Flame resistance profiles to give flame resistance up to 30 to 40 seconds at continuos burning.
Properties of EPDM Rubber:
It has very good properties in cold and hot region i.e, weather, ozone & water resistance at wide range of service temperature (-50C to 140C) with good resilience properties at low and high temperature, excellent heat ageing properties and acid resistance properties.
