This machine uses small lamps as its light source, using photoelectric crystals to measure the breadth of the light ray obstructed by the leather.
Meanwhile, a length detector is used to measure the length of the leather, and after calculation of additions and multiplications processed by a microprocessor, the actual area of leather is obtained.

Control panel can set the measuring unit, compensation ratio, number of pieces in each lot, as well as multiple rounding function, the area of leather converted by actual measuring will be displayed on the panel screen, and using a logic circuit control calculator to stamp a resulting figure on a paper tape, and brand it onto the leather to facilitate totaling and verification.
