Portable:

* Consists of popular model MGPT 1000MK3 -a 1000 ampere AC/HWDC Machine with high current cables & prods
* Ideal for inspection of large castings & welding
* Hand held yoke is another member of this category meant for applications like pipeline inspection etc.
* Machines with an output of 2000-10000 amperes constitute the mobile category
* Such machines mounted on heavy-duty wheels and can undergo limited movement
Stationery:
* Sub-divided into two categories yoke type and coil type
* Yoke type machines house the longitudinal magnetizing coils in two jaws, provided for clamping of the component
* Such machines recommended for components having length up to 600 mm
* For longer components, coil field machines are recommended as they can generate stronger magnetic folds over a length
Specifications:
* Current ranges up to 10000 Amps HWDC or AC
* Job admit lengths from 500mm to 4000mm
* Two power pack system for two magnetic fields
