Polyanionic cellulose has good heat stability and salt tolerance, and has strong antibacterial properties. Widely used in oil drilling, especially salt water wells and offshore oil drilling.

Usage

Used to improve viscosity and reduce water loss in drilling muds

Reduces filtration loss, stabilizes boreholes

The mud fluid formulated by PAC has good water loss, inhibition, high temperature resistance and salt tolerance. The pulping rate is high in fresh water, 4% brine and saturated brine; when the dosage is 35-40% of traditional CMC, the viscosity and fluid loss are similar in freshwater drilling fluid, in 4% brine and saturated brine. It is superior in drilling fluid, which is more resistant to salt paste. It is widely used in oil drilling, especially for deep wells, high temperature wells, brine wells and offshore oil wells.
