Key Features

Double Mechanical Seals are ideal where total leak-proof sealing is required due to the toxic/hazardous/ violatile nature of the fluid. They are combination of two conventional seals installed back to back inside the stuffing box. A compatible clean liquid is distributed between the two seals at a higher pressure then the pumpage product. The inner seal stops the circulated liquid to enter the system and the other seal prevents if from leaking it to atmosphere. The circulation of the liquid reduces the heat generated on the seal faces. These seals are available in various permutations suiting to service conditions.
