Series 360D is a double mechanical seal design similar to series 360, but two seals With back to back arrangement. The seals can be installed inside the stuffing box or Can be supplied as cartridge unit for easy installation. This is brightly recommended for applications where fluids of highly corrosive, hazardous, toxic in nature and hot media. The unit on the fluid handling side prevents mixing of circulation of external fluid with fluid handling media, while the second unit on the other side eliminates leaking of external any possible contamination from the atmosphere. Based on the specific needs, the sealing faces are available in Tungsten Carbide, Silicon Carbide, high grade Carbon etc.And the secondary packings such as O rings, square rings, wedge rings etc. are available in Viton, Neoprene, Buna-N, Silicon rubber and PTFE etc.
