DILL OIL ( Anethum Graveolens)
Dill Plant is an annual herb,It belongs to family celery, Dill herb plant grows up to height of 3 ft. It requires loamy soil . Its flowers are white to yellow.
EXTRACTION:
Dill oil is obtained by steam distillation/cold pressing of the seeds or stems of the Dill plant also known as Indian Dill.
PROPERTIES:
Dill oil has grassy smell and is pale yellow in color.
COMPONENTS:
Its main components are D- Carvone, Eugenol, Terpine & myristicine
BLENDING:
It blends well with nutmeg oil, lime oil, lemon oil orange oil and other citrus oils.
USES:
Owing to its antispasmodic properties it can give relieve in muscle pains, cramps etc.
As it has a strong disinfectant properties it can protect wounds and sin from infections.
It also provides relieve in Head lice problems.
It can also aid in digestion by secreting digestive gastric juices.
It also helps or relives in Gas problems and constipation.
