Piezometer-Digital Water Level Recorder(DWLR) is essential for monitoring groundwater levels in dewatered aquifers. They must be installed within the premises and in peripheral areas with sufficient depth. These instruments measure the liquid pressure (piezometric level) in the ground, either by observing the rising of a liquid column against gravity or by using a pressure measuring device. This allows for the accurate measurement of groundwater pressure at a specific depth. To comply with regulations, records of water level data must be diligently maintained and provided periodically or upon request from the regulating agency. Additionally, there is flexibility to expand the capabilities of the piezometer to include telemetry and non-telemetry options, depending on the customer's requirements and the demands of CGWA/CGWB.

Piezometer for groundwater monitoring - In accordance with CGWB-Central Ground Water Board norms and guidelines, we have been providing piezometer observation borewell drilling with a proper design to learn about ground water behaviour, estimate the local depth to the water table, and learn about the characteristics of the aquifer beneath a given area for better hydrological structure design so that ground water can be recharged or withdrawn without upsetting the aquifer system and hydrological balance.
