OPERATION
a cRemove the protective cap. Do not be alarmed if white crystals appear around the cap. This is normal with pH electrodes and they dissolve when rinsed with water.
a cTurn the tester ON by pressing the 'ON/OFF' button.
a cImmerse into solution up to the max immersion level.
a cStir gently and wait until the display stabilizes.
a cAfter use Turn the tester off by pressing the i ON/OFFi button use the water clean the electrode and replace the protective cap. Do not use distilled or deionized water for storage purposes.
a cLarge fluctuations in readings could be due to lack of calibration dry electrode or rundown batteries.

CALIBRATION
a cImmerse the tester up to the maximum immersion level in pH 6.86 buffer solution.
a cAllow the reading to stabilize and using a small screwdriver adjust the calibration trimmer to read 6.86
a cImmerse the electrode in PH4.01 or PH9.18 the standard buffer solution of borax. Until the display shows i 3.96-4.06PHi ori 9.13-9.23PHi . Always use fresh buffers for calibration.
Important The instrument must be re-calibrated whenever.
