Overview
Digital Audio Extender(MB-OCA01) allows one Digital Optical (TOSlink) or Digital Coax (S/PDIF) Audio and Power signal to be transmitted over cat5e/6 cable,up to 500ft(150M),in point-to-point configuration.it is built in surge suppressor to protect Audio equipment against damaging voltage spikes. MB-OCA01 supports most standards to transmit one uncompressed lossless PCM audio or compressed 5.1/7.1 surround sound,such as DolbyAR Digital Plus or DTS High Resolution Audio (multi channel Digital Audio Dolby DigitalAR 5.1, DTS,and DolbyAR True HD). the power(DC12V) is transmitted over cat5e/6,so just either Transmitter or Receiver unit can be powered.Used in pairs or MB-OCA01AR working with MB-OCA04 to split the Optical(TOSlink) or Coax(S/PDIF) Audio in Four via cat5e/6 cable.
