The diesel fire pump is composed of a diesel engine and a
fire pump. The pump set is a horizontal, double-suction, single-stage
centrifugal fire pump. It has the characteristics of high efficiency, wide

unit is used for conveying clean water or other liquids with physical and
chemical properties similar to water. It can also be used to transport hot water,

III. Working Principle of Double-Suction Fire Pump Set of
Diesel Engine

The inlet and outlet are all on the pump body. During maintenance, only the
pump cover needs to be lifted out, and the rotor parts can be moved for
maintenance without disassembling the pipeline. The diesel engine can be
arranged at the left end or the right end according to requirements, so that
the on-site installation is convenient. The axial dimension of the rotor part
is structurally shortened, the rigidity of the shaft is good, and the operation
is more stable and reliable. The pump body seal ring is provided, while the
impeller seal ring is optional.
