Powder Diaphragm Pump

It is a special pump used to transport powder. Only when the semi-flowing
state is maintained, the powder will not be pressed into a solid block in the
pump cavity, resulting in delivery failure and damage to the pump. The system
utilizes a group of special valves to synchronously introduce compressed air
(or other inert gases) into the liquid cavity of the pump according to a
certain time sequence in each pump cycle, so as to keep the powder in a flowing
state during the pumping process. The product adopts the German
high-performance pneumatic double-diaphragm pump and the high-efficiency and
energy-saving gas path induction distribution valve technology. Realizes the
separation of the motor air supply of the pump and the powder fluidization air
path. The pressure of the fluidizing gas (2.5-6.9 bar) can be set according to
the difference in the flowability of the powder. Lower fluidization pressure
can be set for the powder with low stack density and easy flow, which can
achieve the purpose of saving energy consumption and reduce the load of the air
release assembly. The air supply pressure of the pneumatic motor, which can be
set according to the conveying capacity and conveying height, is (2.0-3.8 bar).

III. Working Principle of Powder Diaphragm Pump

Powder pump is used to transport solid powdery materials, with the delivery
of liquid diaphragm pump or a larger difference. Only when the solid powdery
material is kept in a semi-flowing state, it will not be compressed into a
nearly solid block in the pump cavity, resulting in delivery failure and damage
to the pump. Therefore, the common double diaphragm pump used for conveying
liquid cannot be normally used for conveying solid dry powder. The system needs
to add a set of special valves to introduce compressed air (or other inert gas)
into the pump chamber synchronously according to a certain time sequence in
each pump cycle, so as to keep the flow state during the pumping process of the
powder.
