E-coiler - Single Arm And Double Cone Versions, Hydraulically Expanding Mandrel For Secure Coil Holding

E - COILER - Basically there are two types of de-coilers, Single Arm Decoiler and Double cone Decoiler. These Decoiler's are operated in various types, some have a hydraulically expanding mandrel which on expansion holds the coil bore firmly, another type is of a taper cone Decoiler where the coil is held in between two taper cones. Similar to a taper cone is the stepped cone Decoiler, here instead of taper cones the holding jaws are stepped and different coil bores can be adjusted in these.

The Single arm Decoiler is a hydraulically operated Decoiler, it has an expanding mandrel which on cylinder actuation expands and the mandrel size increases as a result. Thus it is the best type of Decoiler as it holds a coil with out damaging it. The Single arm Decoiler can be driven or non-driven. In a non-driven Decoiler a break is provided for avoiding the rotary couple.
