Copper Collector Panel

We are manufacturing and supplying a best collection of Copper collector panel in Pune which consists of number of fins made of thin copper sheets, welded to copper tube. These tubes are connected to two common pipes known as headers. This entire assembly is put into a metallic box with insulation between the assembly and the box. On the topside, the box is covered by toughened glass in order to protect the fins from the dust, dirt, water etc., and yet allow the solar radiation to fall on the top surface of the fin.

The fins are coated on the top with special material. This is called as solar selective coating. It allows maximum absorption (typically over 95%) of solar radiation in the visible spectrum and limits the thermal emission (to below 5%) in the infrared regime. Thus, maximum energy from the sun is retained in the fin, as heat. This heat can now be transferred to any fluid passing under the fin or through the tube welded to the fin.
