Vertical Mills
In the original Sand Mill the screen holding back the sand media at the top of the mill was an open type. While closed type Sand & Bead Mills have a submerged type of screen or seperator. The can be provided with conventional or
mechanical tightly sealed to permit operation under pressure and also to accept high viscosity products.

Horizontal Mills
In this design, grinding chamber in horizontal one instead of vertical / upright position. In the event of the unit being stopped, the horizontal position enables it to be restarted without difficulty; regardless of product being processed its viscosity or type and size of grinding media being used. Thus the use of steel balls/ other high-density media, which may be contraindicated in a vertical mill, because of ball settlement to the bottom, is no problem with horizontal design.
