Dplm Planetary Mixer - Stainless Steel, Dual Mixing Elements | High Efficiency, Easy Cleaning, No Seals

This planetary mixer consists of a Vertical container having a Circulara cross section which houses one or more mixing elements. These mixing elements perform planetary motion, i.e. they revolve around them selves and also rotate along the container periphery.
The advantage of a DPLMa over standard Sigma Mixers is that there are no seals in the mixing zone, further the container can be removed from the mixing zone thus making it easy for cleaning the container as well as the mixing elements which in turn prevents inter batch contamination.

Broadly there are two versions:
a) Having one mixing element (PLM) and
b) Having two mixing elements (DPLM). It is the DPLM which finds more use in the industry.

APPLICATION :
a DPLMa is used for achieving good homogeneity with high efficiency in processing of viscous products. Further, with appropriate features, these mixers can also used as reactors or dryers..
