Cashew Friction Dust is used as an additive in manufacture of Brake Linings, Pads, Industrial Linings and Clutch Plates .Friction dust is cross-linked and cured phenolic polymer derived from CNSL, a natural Phenol.
Cashew friction dust can aid better friction force, heat fade performance, abrasion resistance insuring braking safety during high-speed and emergency braking and better protection to the brake disk. CNSL resin, compared to synthetic phenolic resins, is economical and produces a softer material which gives a quieter braking action.
