According to different methods of producing raw material, the method of cement production can be divided into dry process (including semi-dry) and the wet process (including half- wet). Dry process is now widely used in all over the world, since its high efficiency and low pollution.Main advantage of dry process production is low heat consumption( such as heat consumption of a dry process kiln clinker with pre-heater is just 3140 ~ 3768J/kg), its disadvantage is that raw material is nonuniform and causes the dust easily,at the same time, this process productiona s consumption is higher. Compared with dry process,wet production has advantages as following:simple operation, easy to control raw materiala s ingredient, good quality finished product, convenient transportation, little dust,.However, its disadvantage is high heat consumption(clinker heat consumption usually is about 5234 ~ 6490 J/kg).
