Cast Iron Box angle plate are made as per IS : 6232 - 1971 and can be used as right angles and squares for layout machine set-ups, tooling and inspection. Matched pairs can be used as height blocks and parallels and without the need for repositioning or disturbing accuracy; a job can be set on one of its faces and rotated in five positions. Also, they can easily be change into special fixtures by providing tenons, pins or stops. The striking features of these angle plates are: * Manufactured from close grained cast iron having hardness within 170 i? 220 HB. * Castings stress relieved. * Hand scraped surface finish for Grade 1 accuracy. * Hand scraped / ground finish for Grade 2 accuracy. * Machined T-slots on one face and cored as i? cast slots on four opposite faces provided to facilitate clamping. * Box Angle Plates can be offered in matched pairs (Only if client requested)
