A Centrifugal method is used for the production of pipes. They are used in the power sector, ore dressing, metal, chemical, leather and other industries for hydro - and pneumotransport of abrasive materials and Chemically-aggressive liquids (acids, bases, salts). Application of cast basalt pipes for protection against wear and corrosion assures long operating life of the facilities and leads to lower operating costs.
The Turbo cast basalt pipes are mounted in metal housings with cement solution or with acid-resistant basalt putty. Basalt pipes of all diameters can be lined with metal housings. The length of the lined basalt pipes ranges from 1 to 6m. The lined basalt pipes are designed for working pressure from 5 to 25 atm. A flange joint or a joint with special sealing, or a conical -flange joint with a rubber seal.
