Cardamom

Our range of Cardamom of commerce is the dried ripe fruit (capsules of cardamom plant) often referred as the Queen of Spices because of its very pleasant aroma and taste. Cardamom is a perennial, herbaceous, rhizomatous ginger like plant. Plants are of medium size ranges between 2 to 4 mtr height.
Types
Cardamom is available in our in 3 different grades
1. Grade - I - 8mm
2. Grade - II - 7mm
3. Grade - III- Bulk
Cardamom is rightly considered as 'Queen of Spices' because of its pleasant aroma and taste. It is one of the most exotic, highly prized and is one of the world's very ancient spices. History of Indian Cardamom has the age of human civilization.

Origin
The Dried fruit of Cardamom is mainly grown in Kerala, TamilNadu and Karnataka. Cardamom is grown on the shady slopes of Western Ghats. It is native to the East originating in the forests of the Western Ghats in southern India, where it grows wild. Today it also grows in Sri Lanka, Guatemala, Indo China and Tanzania. Warm humid climate, loamy soil rich in organic matter, distributed rainfall and special cultivation and processing methods all combine to make Indian cardamom truly unique in aroma, flavour, size and colour tempting parrot-green.
