The Beckhoff EK1100 EtherCAT Coupler is an industrial communication module designed to connect EtherCAT terminals, including Beckhoff EL-series I/O modules, to a 100BASE-TX EtherCAT network. It converts Ethernet/EtherCAT telegrams into E-bus signals for communication with connected EtherCAT terminals.
The EK1100 features 2 RJ45 Ethernet interfaces, 24 V DC power supply, 100 Mbit/s transmission speed, and support for connecting up to 65,534 EtherCAT terminals within the network configuration. It is suitable for industrial automation, PLC control panels, machine automation, and distributed I/O systems.
