WeldIng Process
The involved welding process comprises:
- Bandsaw Blades cut straight exactly at right angles and free of burrs
- Welding current, upsetting pressure and upsetting way set according to blade width with blade ends rigidly clamped using special quick acting jaws
- The automatic welding cycle starts by depressing welding lever
- Two ends are heated up to forging temperature in few seconds
- These are then automatically forged (upset) and current switches off
Annealing Attachment:
- Upsetting pressure is now turned to annealing
- Job is again clamped properly with extended jaws distance that comes in automatically flipping the lever to annealing position
- By turning annealing switch on, the heat position are provided and the joint is annealed so as to normalize brittleness in welded zone
