All DRI units having 500 TPD ROTARY Kiln face a problem to move the transfer chute trolley car during the opening or closing of the door of the Kiln. The time taken is 8-10 hours with 10-12 manpower involvement. The system available in India is to open the doors by Hook Chooks, overhead crane and steel wires which involves huge manpower and time . The total process is tedious, risky and cumbersome.

Now, we have developed a system First Time in India so that the transfer chute trolley can be opened easily within Five minutes and closed within Five minutes. Maximum 3 persons (One operator, two observers to check the operation) are needed to operate the whole system which saves manpower and reduce production loss.

We have already introduced our system in Ramsarup Lohh Udyog Limited (Kharagpur, W.B) and Bihar Sponge Iron Limited (Chandil, Jharkhand) both of which have 500 TPD Lurgi Kiln. Our systems are running properly and have given a great relief to their production department.
