ZK Polyester Putty

Description: ARKO 2K Polyester Putty is a very fine 2-pack polyester putty based on unsaturated polyester resin specially formulized to achieve an optimum refinish work in diverse weather conditions .The filler can be sanded easily because of its flexible and constant fast drying . Excellent solvent resistance which can prevent overcoat layers. Compared to standard paints and varnishes and related standard test methods.

Fiber Arko is a lightweight putty characterized by specific filler easy application and sanding ,through micro-line fillers it is possible to achieve a very fine surface. superior filling properties and fast drying. Suitable at prepared surfaces especially glass fiber reinforced materials and many other substrates.

Super Arko is a multi-purpose putty especially designed for the filling of large surface areas.
Fast dry easy sanding giving quick work . It provides hard and flexible film without cracking. Can be used as a high flow putty over rigid parts allowing the technician to achieve the maximum film build more easily compared to regular high flow putties . Good adhesion on metal surface and most types of primers.

Arko Putty is a universal purpose especially formulated to fill pinholes, sand scratches, hail damage or small dents excellent adhesion on most types of surfaces only is not a purpose for Galvanized.

Application Data

Cleaning	1. Clean surface. Remove all dirt, oil, grease and wax with a cleaning solvent such as, Grease & Silicone Remover. 2. Make sure surface is dry before repairing. 3. Use 80-180 grit disc to featheredge for good mechanical adhesion.
Preparation:	Dry sanding : P180-P240-P320 Sanded systems: P80-P180 Galvanized: Sweep blasting recommended Abrasive blast: AS 1627.4 Class 2.5 (ISO Sa 2.5) with a uniform blast profile of 20 to 50um
Mixing ratio (By volume)	100:2.5 ratio	A a ribbon of cream hardener from edge to edge across the center of a 10cm diameter puddle). Puddles larger than 10cm in diameter will require additional hardener, at higher temperature add 1%;
Number of coats	With a putty knife 2-5 times or until reach thickness required putty film thickness 600-1000 micron Max. Recommended Thickness (sanded) 3mm
Mix stick:	Mix carefully to avoid forming air bubbles;
Use the Mixing stick	M2 4:1 (74-202=3:1/4:1) or M6 (74-206 standard)/ M7 (74-207 large) Universal cm-stick

Storage:

Store the product dry and at a temperature between 5 and 38C per Arko specification. Store in the original unopened container. Storage temperature may vary per OEM specification requirements. refer to container label for specific storage life information.
