Acetonitrile is drug (vitamin B1), fragrance intermediate and the raw material in the production of s-triazine nitrogen fertilizer synergist. Also used as ethanol denaturant. Besides, it can be used in the synthesis of amine and acetic acid, dyeing and lighting industry.
