Plastic thermoform parts regularly require machining to make slots and holes and to trim the outline of the parts. To automate this process, Cybernetic Instruments, Pune have introduced a low cost CNC routing machine with 5 axis routing capability. The machine has spindle head that can both rotate and tilt enabling all side routing of plastic part in single set up.

Our Entry level Quick Rout 1212-5 has work envelope of 1200 X 1200 X 400 mm & accuracy of 0.3mm. It is sophisticated control system is capable of simultaneous 5 axis routing operation. The control system accepts industry standard G & M codes. The standard model is fitted with rugged 1 HP spindle with speeds up to 30000 RPM. With transverse / routing speeds of 18 meter/ minute, the machine can rout even complex thermoform components within few minutes.
Quick Rout is also capable for manufacturing rapid prototypes in plastics from solid CAD models. This application involves importing the solid model in our CAM software, which is capable of providing 5 axis tool paths. Using these tool paths, the machine can mill a plastic block to produce accurate prototype within few hours. Our 5 Axis CNC Routers are available at most competitive price.
