2.5 Inch Data Encrypted HDD Enclosure uses plastic case, so it is very light in weight and easy for carry-on. It is for 2.5" SATA Hard drive. The external interface is USB2.0.

K2513RFID uses RFID technology with chip keys for encrypting your data and hard drive. When you use such HDD enclosure, you just need to scan chip keys. Then the system will do data encryption and decryption automatically when reading or storing data. No need of other procedure. If without the right chip key, the encrypted hard drive is like a new and unformatted one, which you can't read nor store data into.

It is a good protection of your private and confidential data against other people.
