Use: 1,2-Propanediol can be used as the raw material of unsaturated polyester resin. In cosmetic, toothpaste and soap, it can be used with glycerin or sorbitol as wetting agent. In tint, it is used as humidifying and levelling agent. Also used as antifreeze. It can be used in cellophane, plasticizer and pharmaceutical industry.
