CII 17th Safety Symposium & Exposition 2023 Eastern Region will be held on 10th - 11th August 2023 at ITC Sonar, Kolkata, West Bengal, India. The social pillar of ESG includes the health, safety and welfare of employees, hazards management, skills and training development and the ESG reporting can greatly help stakeholders to see how a company is managing its risks and opportunities. So, a successful ESG strategy must be aligned with successful EHS functions and management since the two departments are intertwined with many ESG criteria being covered by EHS functions. ESG has changed the perception of EHS. There can be now quantifiable, recorded data that can be used to analyse OHS risks. This is resulting in a shifting role of EHS from cost preventer to value creator.

It is with great pleasure that WPA invites you to its Regional Congress with the theme “BUILDING AWARENESS, BRIDGING TREATMENT GAPS” which will take place on April 14th - 16th, 2023 in the city Kolkata-The City of Joy, India. 

We are pleased that SAARC Psychiatric federation is our local host for this important WPA’s Regional Congress of the 2020-23 triennium. It will highlight the importance of bringing together the psychiatrists & other mental health professionals on board for discussing topics of mutual interest. This will also provide a forum where the voices of patients, or highly traumatized fellow human beings and their families, will be heard.
