About Venue
Beirut Hippodrome, Located in Parc Du Beyrouth, just north of al-Dahiye, is the impressive hippodrome. Built in 1923, international horse races are organized there since 1944. In 1982, the venue was completely destructed during the conflict with Israel, only to be reopened in 1991.
