More space is made available for guests to move around and find a seat at a circular table because there are no corners. Both more traditional dining rooms and those with an open layout that place the dining area to one side of a larger room benefit greatly from the presence of a round table in the center of the space. User and the people who will be sitting at the table need not only enough room for setting down food books and other items but also enough room to move around it and find a comfortable spot to sit.
