Q. What makes polished and glossy tiles different from one another?
Answer
Glossy glazes have the ability to pool in certain locations relying on the surface of the tile which may result in portions of glaze which are thicker and others that are thinner in addition to variations in colour. These characteristics can be seen in the finished product. The polishing wheel process is used in the production of polished tiles.
