On the other hand threshing is the term used to describe this operation. Specifically a combine harvester/thresher is used for this purpose. The type of crop you are harvesting should be more important than your budget when deciding which machine to buy. Again even if you're on a tight budget you shouldn't risk damaging your harvest by using equipment that wasn't designed for that particular crop.
