Q. What is an angle cock?

An angle cock is also known as angle valve and is a small piece of plumbing fitting that has an inlet and an outlet port which are perpendicular to each other. It is sorted as the manual valve and it is usually used to prevent or control the flow of a liquid in a pipe. This is the reason why it is sometimes also known as stop valve. Sometimes the angle cock may bifurcate one inlet of water into two outlets generally used to give water supply to jet spray and flush valve in bathrooms.
