Q. Is there a difference between swimming pool tiles and regular tiles?

Tiles designed specifically for use in swimming pools are built to withstand the effects of direct sunshine fluctuating temperatures an aquatic environment and prolonged contact with the chemicals that are found in swimming pool water. Regular home tile such as that used in bathrooms and kitchens isn't meant for use outside and may not be as long-lasting as tile specifically made for that purpose.
