This medicine should be taken 3-4 times a day or as instructed by the pharmacist and prescribed by the doctor. It should be consumed after meals when taking this medicine as a dietary supplement. The chewable tablets should be crushed and chewed thoroughly and not swallowed as a whole. You should drink a glass of water after that. Calcium carbonate available in liquid form should be shaken well before use. It is advised not to take calcium carbonate as an antacid for more than 2 weeks unless advised by the doctor.
