Chat masala is a spice powder. It is a mix masala applied to add flavour to chat, which is Indian fruit salads made with papaya, sapodilla, apples and bananas. Chat masala is also sprinkled on potatoes, fruit, egg toasts and regular salads in India. Chat masala is a mixture of spices which consist of coriander, cumin, mango powder, black rock salt, pepper, citric acid and mint leaves.
