Q. How does an industrial metal detectors work?
Answer
The industrial metal detectors have one transmitter coil and two receiver coils one on either side of the transmitter generating a constant electromagnetic field. When a metal is detected an unequal disturbance is produced in the magnetic field that is translated into an electrical signal interpreted by a control unit to remove the contaminated food from the production line.
