Q. How does a reciprocating compressor works?
Answer
In a reciprocating compressor atmospheric air is sucked into a cylinder where compression takes place. Air is compressed while pressure is increased until a pre-set limit is reached. Compressed air is stored in a attached storage tank and is released by opening the discharge valve.
