Q. How does a metal detector gate works?
Answer
Using magnetic induction a metal detector gate sends short pulses of current through the coil of wire to maintain a constant magnetic field; when a metal is located a reversed magnetic flux is produced which in turn alerts the control unit with audible and visible alarm system.
