Q. Can ABS pipes use for water supply connections?
Answer
ABS has not yet standardized potable water norms. Hence it cannot be used for drinking water supply lines. As far as normal water supply lines ABS pipes can be used as piping solutions (hot and very cold water is an exception). ABS can withstand thermal variations but ABS pipes are not preferred for hot water supply lines.
