Machine made wood wool pads have numerous advantages over conventional hand made wood wool pads
1. Uniform Distribution of wool across the entire cross section of wood wool pad (hay pad)
2. Better cooling - Uniform distribution of wool results in more efficient air flow and hence better cooling
3. Cross sectional stitching - Wood wool is stitched longitudinally and latitudinally (unlike conventional pads in which wood wool is just stuffed via hand).
4. Higher Endurance - Due to cross sectional stitching the wool does not accumulate at the bottom of the pad over time. Hence resulting in longer life
5. Netting - The net used to wrap the wood wool (hay) is a special net manufactured only for the purpose of wood wool pads. Nets used in conventional pads got filled with dust over time due to smaller hole size, which impacted both air flow and quality.
However, the net used in machine made pads does not let dust accumulate over time and hence, you get dust-free, consistent air flow throughout the life-span of the pads.
