Wire Wounded Type Heat Exchangers

We are engaged in exporting, manufacturing, distributing and supplying of Wire Wounded Type Heat Exchangers in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. Strip / wire wounded type heat exchangers are used for Air Cooling applications and for Moisture removal. These Heat Exchangers mainly have finned tubes with Aluminium fins. Material of construction changes based on the application and also depends upon the end use of the air.

Strip Wound Finned Tubes:-

Controlled deformation of the strip under tension gives the required contact pressure of the foot on the base tube for optimum heat transfer performance (Max Temp: 150 C)

Wire Wound Finned Tubes with External Finning:-

This is one of the most efficient and successful designs. These are produced on automatic machines. In this design, continuous series of wire loops are produced which are helically wound on to a tube and held in position with bending wire before being automatically soft soldered to the tube surface.

Applications of Strip / wire wounded type heat exchangers:-

Air Blast Coolers for Motors
Air Handling Units for low Air temperatures up to 100 C
