Wide Voltage Pumps

We are providing our customers an excellent quality range of Wide Voltage Pumps. Fluctuating voltages are a problem in India and are the cause for much failure of induction motors and consequently the pumps driven by them. For a given power rating the current increases when the voltage changes above or below the design voltage. For the winding to remain cool, the current density must remain with in the limits. When the voltage varies drastically from the design voltage, current increases and so does the current density. This usually burns the coil. Texmo's range of single and three phase wide voltage capable pumps run at variable supply voltage bands using multi-strand wires in the coil. The winding is suitably adjusted by changing the connections at the termination points. Such motors have been referred to as transmotors here.

Internal Design :
Multi standard wires will be used instead of standard wires. The strands will be suitably wired at the terminal box so as to present the requisite number of turns to the supply voltage after sensing the latter. Normally the strands will be of the same cross sectional area and specific resistance.
