Softeners, as their name would imply, are that softens water by removing minerals which make water hard and cause scale. Water softeners treat hard water by using salt and ion-exchange resins to remove calcium and magnesium hardness from the water. These resins are coated in a sodium solution and when hard water comes into contact with the resin beads, the calcium and magnesium ions migrate out of the solution to the active sites on the resin and are replaced in the solution by sodium ions. We offer a series of pre-engineered packaged softeners to meet the needs of small and medium industries. In addition custom built softeners are offered for large requirements in manual, semi- automatic and fully- automatic versions to suit our clients specification and requirement. Options are available in mild steel and FRP vessels; mono valves for the smaller units and multiple valves and piping for larger units.
