Voriconazole Tablets are basically azole antifungal agents. This medicine works effectively blocking fungal cell wall growth. This results in the death of the fungus. A broad-spectrum triazole antifungal agent, these tablets are indicated in adults and children aged 2 years and above. It is very useful in the treatment of invasive aspergillosis, candidaemia in non-neutropenic patients and fluconazole-resistant serious invasive Candida infections (including C. krusei). In addition, it is also indicated for the treatment of fungal infections caused by Scedosporium spp. and Fusarium spp.
