Vibrating Screens are most preferred due to the ease of operation and low maintenance cost. The main screen basket of the Vibrating Screens is rectangular in shape. These Vibrating Screens can either be with a single eccentric shaft on the ends of which two equal unbalanced weights are mounted or can be provided with two unbalanced motors. The screen decks are either of perforated steel plates with round or square holes or of spring steel wire mesh system having bolt tightening arrangement on the main plate of the basket. The basket is normally positioned on 8 or 12 Nos. of heavy duty springs depending on the size of the Vibrating Screens. These Vibrating Screens are mounted on a steel frame, which is designed to give an inclination of about 15-18 Degree to the basket.

Working
The material fed on the top deck begins to roll down and particles smaller than the perforation pass below, while the bigger ones are retained on the deck and roll down in the chute provided at the end. When the Vibrating Screen is of multiple decks, the particles segregated from the deck above fall on the lower decks and the process of segregation is repeated. Since the lower decks will have smaller perforation as compared to the deck above, the material finally gets segregated into various sizes.
