This is a real Professional stringed Veena of first quality made of the wood of Jackfruit tree (Plav). The designs will be similar to that shown in the picture. This Veena is made by a vendor who has been a favourite of Professional musicians in Kerala for the past 20 years.

The sound of the Veena creates wonderful vibrations within us. This would be because of the fact that the Veena has been modelled on the human body in a namaskaara position. The origin of sounds in one's body has been mapped to the origins of sounds in the Veena, making it most similar to the human sound form.
