Product Overview
Key Features
a. Dipping Method :
Process Plant :
Storage tank and the dipping or impregnating chamber form the system. Coils are kept in the dipping tank. Resin is pumped in the dipping tank and the coils get plastered with resin in this chamber. Storage tank can be provided with a stirring facility. Accessories like chillers can be provided to maintain the pot-life of the resin. Heating the impregnated coils can also be facilitated. Additional pressure arrangement for transfer of varnish/resin from storage tank to impregnating chamber is recommended.
b.Vacuum presure Impregnation :
Process Plant :
This is the most commonly used method of Impregnation. The plant has a resin storage tank and an Impregnating Chamber. Coils to be treated are placed in the Impregnating Chamber. Vacuum is drawn in the Impregnating Chamber by the Vacuum Pump and resin is forced in. Resin can be forced with additional pressure for better penetration in the windings. Plant operates more efficiently with less resin wastage if it is equipped with accessories like Condenser, stirrer in the storage Tank, Chilling system for resin storage, Heating treated coils, air filters etc.
c.Trickle Impregnation :
Process Plant :
The method is generally used for quick production cycles with single armature/field coil impregnation. Single or a group of stator/rotor is kept on a tray the work station, in the impregnating chamber & Components are he
